Athletic trainers attended an event at Dorman High School to be part of the ceremonial bill signing of the South Carolina Student Athlete Concussion Law. Highlights of the bill signed by Govern Nikki Haley included: athletes suspect of a concussion must be removed from play and undergo medical assessment; athletes with suspected concussion must have physician clearance prior to reengaging in practice or play.
