Scott Little is a proud Summerville High alum, that was first introduced to the athletic training profession by the late Tracey James during his freshman year-a moment that sparked an interest and passion for athletic training. He went on to Charleston Southern where earned a BS in Athletic Training as part of the first official athletic training degree form CSU. During that time, he interned at Summerville under James and Randy Strickland, the two original ATs to work at SHS. During his time Little worked with the Charleston Battery Soccer, Charleston Swamp Foxes of the arena league before spending three years at Pinewood Prep. In 2008, he was given an opportunity to come home by legendary Coach John McKissick, marking the start of a rewarding chapter where it all began. Since returning to Summerville, Little has had the privilege of impacting thousands of students both in the classroom and on the field. The true highlight of his career has been watching young student-athletes grow-not only as competitors but as individuals who mature into successful adults. His time at Summerville has been a testament to the power of mentorship, community, and giving back to the place that shaped him into the athletic trainer that he continues to be to this day.
